Basketball shoes have great support but usually have soft rubber soles and do not last at all after long periods of play and most likely leave your Achilles Tendon & Calf Muscles Aching.
Tennis Court Shoes are probably your most durable although many brands are made of cheap materials and will not last or perform.

- Outdoor Play: gritty cement courts are hard on shoes, knees & ankles so rotate often - injuries typically happen due to poor posture, technique, and excess baggage around stressing your joints and ligaments.
- Indoor Play: if you play mostly indoor on rubber/wood - go basketball/volleyball styles if you are athletic.
- Wear Patterns: Just take a look at your wear patterns on the bottom of your shoes.
